Default Babylon 5 - Babylon 4 HD

Those of you who downloaded my HD Babylon 5 TLT will recognise a lot of the parts on this, such as the spine/superstructure, the inner centrifuge, cobra bays and the docking ring. I thought, as I spent so much time doing the detailed work on those for B5, that I would incorporate them here suitably modified in places.
I must give credit to Chris Guinn. Her B4 model, which has been around for many years, was invaluable in getting the proportions as correct as possible.
I now, of course, need to do the texture mapping and a shed load of greebles!

Agree too much green, but it's a test render so I'll let you off this time ! Got a good idea for this one, if you're gonna put it up for grabs Ted? Cus you know, it looks frakin' awesome

The app is not released as far as I know. I just used the image that he posted in his thread.

I will, indeed, be releasing B4. I've just got a few little texturing bits to do and then rig the running lights and then I'll publish a link.

You're going to blow it up, aren't you?

The highest resolution B5 setup is about 2.6Mpolys. B4 is currently on just over 4.0Mpolys!

Oh jees, that's just a wip, not a completed output or anything! And no, no release. It's still very much awful looking and functions poorly. I don't release things in secret or for select groups, I just kick it out the door when it's done

This is finished now (I think!) I've done all the nav lights that I'm going to do. Now to do an animation to check that the rotations are correct.

Here's a short video of B4 as it stands at the moment.

Watch in 1080p if you can. Hope you like it.

Default B4 Download

Here's the download link for B4.
I can only keep it live for a short time so grab it while you can. This is an 87Mb download!
Some feed back would be nice i.e. If you see anything that's wrong or you don't like, let me know, bearing in mind that this is far from cannon as I used many bits if my B5 to build it!
Thanks.
Ted
