Default New Laptop

The current job involves an international commute, and I'm thinking I really need a seriously powerful laptop with a great screen.

I've got this in mind:

Almost perfect, though I'd like more memory which does not look like an option.

Hi Starbase1.

If you need really good render performance i would recommend this notebook.

Click

It has two additional CPU cores which will be very helpful when rendering and the graphics card is vastly superior which means you could also play games if you wanted to.
The IPS display is 2 inches larger and has more or less the same image quality although much less resolution. The PLS display of the other notebook is just Samsungs version of the IPS display standard.

Though the extra cores would be nice, I'm really excited by the 4k screen with accurate colour. And I've just heard that although it's not a listed option, I can double the installed memory, so I think it's now an easy choice.

If its a 4K Screen with accurate Adobe RGB and 32 GB Ram with a GTX 1050 then i can recommend the Dell XPS 15, really great laptop indeed.

Thanks for the suggestion, I looked it over but I think I prefer the one I spotted,

I'm glad you are getting a new laptop. I like the specs of the one you are looking to get and the price seems good.

I was expecting to pay more, but this sounds pretty much ideal to me, and I love the idea of a 4k screen with good colour. I'm srending so much time on an international commute it really makes sense to get a high powered luggable laptop I can use anywhere.
