Default Game Related - Brink Character

I made a brink character and gun in Light wave, and detailed and textured it in Z brush.

Gah! My eyes! What is that MatCap!?!

I don't know what a Brink character is, so please forgive me. The result looks rushed and too busy, like visual camouflage or something...it's hard to tell what is what with the exception of the hands and feet. Focus more on basics like gesture and proportion before moving on to the cool stuff. Also, with the pistol, if you're modeling it all in ZBrush, the good folks at Pixologic have given us clip brushes and masking to straighten up all those wobbly bits. If you get familiar with them, you'll find that hard surface concepts can come together really fast and look pretty darned good these days.
