Default Visions of Space 2

Hey!

I went to the private viewing for Visions of Space 2, at Wells! With a bunch of my art up on the walls there...

I was a bit unsure about going - this is definitely the big league! But I''m really glad I went along, lots of people keen to meet me and talk about the work. A lot of them VERY knowledgable about the subject matter too.

Hell, they even had the most famous bit of astronomical art in the world up on the wall there - Saturn from Titan by Chesley Bonestell.

It's not easy to get to, (no train station) but QWells is a beautiful town, and if you do happen to be in striking range, I think users of these firums would enjoy it a lot. There were also a whole LOAD of models from famous TV SF by Mat Irvine too!

And we managed to link up to SpaceFest in the USA...

That looks like an exhibit worth visiting. But you're on the other side of the planet!

You're not wrong there, a massive collection of astronomical art, some with a more scifi element, (particularly the models of Mat Irvine).
