Nice composite overall. The Falcon doesn't quite match the old photo though. I might need a bit more grain (looking at the sky).

It's unusual to see the Falcon from the side like that; orthographic almost. It actually looks odd that way!

Thing is - with the Falcon clearly in front of the building and closer, it looks really small to my eye. The door in the building emphasizes this.

I like the second one a lot, but the first one just seems off. I think it's the lighting on the falcon being from the top and the background having sunset lighting.

Yeah I agree Treybor, there was something about it which nagged me and wasnt sure I had the scaling correct, back to the drawing board (although I am working up a final shot which is all modeled rather than a composited backdrop). Thanks for the feedback

Wiz, the great thing is that the Falcon has so many interesting details that it looks
good with just about any lighting.

Haha true, makes your life easier does that the first shot was me doodling, looking for the right angle and lighting and so on, it was a WIP which I thought hey I like that so what the heck, I will post it

But currently looking at Docking Bay 94, want to do a shot with Han admiring his hunk of junk, but first have to either model a Han, or find one that I can use. Or ask Harrison to pose for me as Han (and whilst I am at it I will invent the perpetual engine, and cure all the world's diseases).

No problem. I think the first link is the best looking model, but you'll have to import the OBJ file.
