Default Star Trek - Starfleet Designs TOS

I started back working on Star Trek designs a few weeks ago, this year being its 50th Anniversary.. the original series is still the one I enjoy the most..

So I am rebuilding the Constitution Class in the images and a Space station design based on Franz Joseph Technical manual with my own alterations and Matt Jefferies Space-Tug which I posted a while ago.. this is how they look.

thanks for looking

No textures done yet..

Some nice work here.

If I recall, there were only 14 heavy cruisers, numbered 1700 to 1713, so you might reconsider the number on that one ship in the bottom image (NCC-1895).

Nice work on the starbase.

Thanks Rigel

13 according to Kirks line in the TOS episode Tomorrow is Yesterday explains that the ship is one of twelve like it in service of the United Earth Space Probe Agency.. but the registry's are all over the place. I grouped them together for easy reference.

The Endeavour NCC-1895 shows up in the last film with the TOS crew on a graph at one point.. but here is the lists

D.C. Fontana’s proposal 8 August 1967
Enterprise
Exeter
Essex
Excalibur
Lexington
Yorktown
Endeavor
El Dorado
Excelsior
Saratoga
Constellation
(destroyed in “Doomsday Machine.” Presume she would be replaced by Starfleet)
Hornet
Wasp
Farragut
(mentioned as destroyed in “Obsession”)
Hood
Bonhomme Richard
Monitor or Merrimac, depending upon your loyalties
Tori
(“bird” [note: in Japanese])
Lafayette
Ari
(“lion” [note: in Hebrew])
Krieger
(“warrior” [note: in German])
Bob Justman’s proposal 9 August 1967
Enterprise
Essex
Excalibur
Lexington
Yorktown
Endeavor
Eagle
Constellation
Hornet
Wasp
Lafayette
Definitive list as utilized at the start of TOS Season 2
Enterprise
Exeter
Excalibur
Lexington
Yorktown
Potemkin
Republic
Hood
Constitution
Kongo
Constellation
Farragut
Valiant
Intrepid

This can´t be correct - you can see the USS CONSTELLATION (original and remastered) with the Registration NCC-1017 and the USS EXETER (remastered) with the Reg. NCC-1672 in the show.

The USS Enterprise visits Starbase 13 dropping off personal and supply transfer bordering the Klingon Empire .. once I have more designs done, I think I will revisit this base.

I guess you mean the RELIANT in ST2
The TOS-DEFIANT´s Reg was NCC-1764

@Ger
I like both scenes much.

The render of the Enterprise departing from the starbase almost looks like a tv style greenscreen shot. Certain aspects of your lighting have almost captured that 1960's look.

Nice to see the Enterprise with that starbase.
