Default Star Trek - Standard Orbit

Playing around again with the Marc Bell version of the Discoprise. Similar angle to a previous image I'd done with Chris Kuhn's version, but much lighter this time.
I think I'm officially Trekked-out for a while.

Thanks, guys. I saw the link initially on Chris Kuhn's facebook page after being pointed to his DSC Enterprise. Chris Kuhn made mention of and posted a link to Marc Bell's facebook post releasing the mesh to the public.

I hope it's okay to post said link. If not, I can remove it.

Maybe I should restart with the newest mesh?

Thanks, Rigel. I was actually thinking of whether it was okay with him. I didn't want to post the link straight to the dropbox file, that seemed rather rude. Idk, I don't do social media so I was just guessing.

Actually, both meshes have their fine points. I would go with whatever you like for the scene you're doing. I expect I'll be using both going forward.

Yes, on that point I would definitely ask the owner's permission. Not everyone wants the whole world visiting their drop box.

Unfortunately, my internet is so slow I can't get the large render to download, I'll be glad when next month gets here and I get broadband.

I wasn't quite satisfied with the original image. Partly because I work on a (uncalibrated) MacBook Pro and the image looks darker there than on my (uncalibrated) Windows machine at work, so I went back and tried to make the Windows version look more like the Mac.
