Concept Art to 3D Model..
Ok ..... Found tons of Awesome Pics a man did at Deviant art site So I thoght I would take another Crack at Making a 3D model of one of his works of Art.. And here is the basic Hull Design, Port Side View, Aft, Bow views.. Now back to adding more Features... Mike |

Looks good so far.
As a note: rail guns use magnets to fire metallic projectiles and would not have a visible firing effect. Which makes them really dull and boring in a movie despite the fact that they are a devastating weapon. |

All the video I've seen of real railguns firing tend to suggest there's plenty of 'effect' to be seen. If anything they're more spectacular than similar sized gunpowder weapons, although I imagine a good deal of that would be lost in a vacuum.

Exactly, because what you are witnessing is air compression and condensation effects, as well as kicking up dust etc.
