Oh, I thought it looked familiar!

I ran a reverse image search through Google. Near as I can tell, it's a more detailed version of the ship from the "Descent" games back in the '90s. This particular image is floating around in a lot of places so it's hard to be sure where it came from originally, but it looks like it was made for a mod for Descent 3 that never got off the ground. More info and another angle on the ship here.

EDIT: Okay, yeah, that's definitely where it came from. Even more pictures of that model here.

Good snooping, Dave. I was thinking the same thing, that it looked familiar, but I couldn't place it, and I keep forgetting you can do the reverse-search thing.

They should totally remake that game. That would be epic with today's graphics.

I loved that game. It seemed to be way ahead of its time too.

You said it Gordon! I still have the DOS version of that game but for some reason, it won't play, even in DOS Box. I may be getting VM Ware soon and if I have to, I'll be making a DOS 6.6 partition soon!
