UPDATE...
I decided to finish of a few of the detail for my relay station. Just a few things more to do and I can move onto the next section.

Still havenít decided on the scale for this thing. I couldnít find any information on the size of the one used in the show.

Looking at the human stand-in you used in the 3rd image, I think the scale works out well how you've modeled it (intentionally or not)

UPDATE...
Found this left over close up of the engine so I thought Iíd post it.

Started to work on the second section and I added a new part to the outside just to give it more space and keep it from being just a knock off of Relay Station 47.

This is how it looks with the first part.

Just picked up the second season TNG on Blu-Ray and so far not really impressed with the restoration on this one.

UPDATE...
Well the second part is starting to come together. So far Iím happy with it but I still need to add a few things. Iíve changed the size to about 150 meters and it still feels smaller than what I would like when I put a shuttle next it. But I think going any bigger would be kind of ridiculous. I really like the grid lines I did on this I usually go either too thick or too deep but I think these look good.

Just wanted to see how both parts look together.

UPDATE...
Iíve decided to add an airlock. The shuttle is just there to check on size. I added a little bit of detail on the part that runs up the side of the station. Iím thinking I might also be able to use the same thing as part of the airlock door.

Here is a close up of the airlock door. Itís made to open so I might do an interior for the airlock. I also noticed alot of segmenting so I had to add more. Itís better than it was.

And here it is on the outside with a texture test and more details.

Thanks.

UPDATE...
Now that I look at it this was kind of a dumb place for an airlock because there is still very little space and not alot of room between the airlock and the turbolift that runs down the center. Oh well. All I did here was add two litle red lights.

Started on the next section. Itís turned out nice so far.

UPDATE...
Here are the rest of the images I didnít get a chance to post because the drain in my laundry room backed up.
Hereís a look at the backside with more little details added.

I was thinking about adding another module because there just isnít that much room. Iím just not sure if it looks too unbalanced.

I actually think this one works out better.

UPDATE...
Between all the stuff going on after my fatherís death and playing Mass Effect 2 I havenít felt much like doing any work. But instead of do another dresser for my house I thought I change things up for myself and go back to this station. Iíve started to add details to the new module. I decided I want it to look a little bit newer than the rest of the station since itís just an add on to make more room. I should be getting a new computer in a few weeks. Either next month or the following month.

UPDATE...
Well I wanted to clear my head some and go back and work on one of the older ships that I blocked in and didnít touch much after that.

Iíll probably rebuild the front of the warp engine. Iím not too happy with it the way it is now.

Itís a small ship but I havenít decided on the size just yet. My original idea is that after the war this is the first ship that the federation sends out to explore and reconnect with itís allies.

UPDATE...
Iíve started to work out the shape of the hull. Iíve also resized it to around 60 meters I might up to 80 meters. Ignore the possition of the engine it hasnít been moved into place yet. Iím really happy with the way itís turned out so far.

Iíve added a few more bits to the engine. Donít know how much more Iíll add.

Not sure what the blow glowing strip would be for, but it looks cool! I like how the "step" in the rear of the hull swoops forward into the curve. It's a very nice styling touch.

I also just noticed that this ship has the famous fan-tail of the Constitution class cruisers.

I just wanted to see how the glowy strip might look. I'm not sure If I'll keep it. If I do it won't be with that temp texture.
I think all of my Fed ships have the fan tail. I just like the way it looks.

UPDATE:
Here is another old ship I havenít worked on since 2009. I kept haveing trouble with the warp pylon shape but now Iíve got it to a point that Iím happy. For now the ship is only about 150 meters long.

Did you base the colours of the lights on the shirt you are wearing in your avatar?

UPDATE...
A bit more done on this ship. I decided I didnít want to cut a hole into the hull for the Nav Deflector so I added two small ones to the warp pylon. I think it turned out kind of nice.

Iíve also decided to try to flesh out another ship I havenít touched since 6/23/2009. I just wasnít sure how I was going to do it but now I have an idea.
