Madkoifish...very nice. I see some Rumiko Takahashi and some Red Earth influence in your styles here. The flavor tastes legitimate. Very Cheri....

Default Just so everyone knows Im not dead or something. . . .

Takahashi I know from growing up with her stuff, Red Earth, I dunno that one. So I don't doubt the hours spent drawing Urusei Yatsura and Ranma shows.

The Pchat stuff is always a bit odd looking. Some of the people who's art is in that image draw a bit differently in PS, SAI or what other apps they use.

Here is a loose sketch I did a few days ago mainly to loosen myself up. I was having issues getting into the mood >_>
AGAIN it is Touhou. Remilia being a tit and making a mess with her "blood" tea for poor Sakuya to clean up after. (insert a million fanon and meme results)

MKF - you are the master! *bows*

I got a minute today to work up a concept character sketch
for branding a local barbecue company here in South Carolina.

Madkoifish. I mean to say Rei - Earth. Slayers as well. Typo...my bad. Looks nice...but evil... ( shudder )

Woody. Like the drawing.Nice and homey / earthy / down - home fuzzy. Keep it as is.

Did a couple tonight since I am now doing the character storyboards on my storythread. Did and posted these earlier tonight on the WIP animation forum. Didn't get the chance to save em to my wife's hard drive before I took the memory stick upstairs to my loft where my Mac is. ( Woody...help please like last time. I'll try to remember to upload them here first instead of linking them to photobucket....) Not looking for perfection since they are meant to be rough storyboards. But I'll try to tighten up the character sketches to where they are more "on model."

Oh wow, what a great thread idea, and sO much amazing work! Wow!

Been a loooong time since I pushed a pencil around, and all my sketch books are in boxes in the garage, but here is an old pencil piece from years ago. Please excuse the quality (and reflections), as it's sealed in a frame on my wall and I had to take a pic of it, as I used to have a nice scan of it, but I can't find that file for the life of me.

Anywho, King Conan.

Love the detail in that drawing Deg. There's also some great tonal variation. That can be hard with pencil.

Oh Jees, not another one Deg. Isn't it enough that Woody is too talented, without you rolling out yet another skill? First you break into organics with your superheroes, now this?

Hehe, sorry, rant over. Excellent image. Now let's see it in 3D

I like your character sketch of the Jabberwocky looking over her shoulder, it has a lot of motion in it. Cool stuff man.

Nice sketches!

The one thing I notice is in the profiles; the facial features go almost straight down.

The designs are great and I love how you capture the emotion in their expressions.
