![]() How easy do you find t to get a specific look you want, as opposed to generating random cool stuff?
Can you pull out separate channels, for example isolating the bump from a texture? Nick |

![]() Pretty simple really.. Its nodal based, plenty of samples to tear apart, like 8000+ samples to tear into...
I have just really started to tear into it... its alot of funnnnn.. ![]() Its really fast, takes all 12 cores to the stress point renders up to 65000 x 65000 resolution hers the normal map for the previuos post 8096 x 1024.. Panels #2 NormalMap.zip Mike |

No... I don't think so.... have to check... But you can take the texture, into photo shop, and do the polar filter to acheve that.... they do have a Planet thingy have not tried it yet... have to play with it there demo is fully funtional for 30 days they gave me 30+30+30 days total 90 days i tinkered with the demo.. |

![]() I really don't understand the screenshot - on that it doesn't look like a map for 3d at all...
And judging by the atmosphere on the one you linked to, that's a flat rendered image... |

You have to edit the nodes to get the 3d thingys.. There arent to many using it for 3D applications, but ... yes its a 2d, but if you plug the nodes in you can get the normalmap ..spec map, alpha map etc etc I guess the tinkering begins, to get it up to 3D specs for use on poly balls.. ![]() Mike |

![]() I had an exchange on the FF forums, and came to the conclusion that it won't do this without a lot of manual fiddling, which rather destroys the point of the software for me.
On a more positive note, from what I was told there, the software is almost always on sale at a hefty discount! Nick |
