Default The reference corner

You might be asking "Why in the world is he doing this?"

Well, I get about 3-10 requests a month for reference images, and it occured to me if I have one centralized online location, people can still grab references if something happens and I'm unavailable.

I will be starting with posting Human model refs, since that seems to be the biggest part of my collection. I will then move on to other categories and genres alphabetically. So if you have a request, send me a private message.

and so it begins.....

After a cursory review of the content I have, these are the planned threads:

3D human modeling references
Architecture
Misc. Fantasy
Furniture
Misc. Science Fiction
Star Trek
Star Wars
Historical References
Lord of the Rings
Vehicles

BTW: Just so everyone knows.

The threads in this sub-forum are moderated. Which means I have to approve them for them to show up. I have done this to prevent people from posting non-reviewed material. I have to review eveything posted to confirm it has not been copied from a book or downloaded illegally.

Just trying to keep us all out of trouble.

Who let the resource monster out of its cage? Do you realize what you've done to the world?

We'll never get him back in.

wanna hear something psychotic....?
I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how to break up and upload a gig of Star Trek refs.... and I was trying to figure out why it was a gig of data...

Then I checked again... One folder has nothing but ultra high res uncompressed JPG's....9MB each image!!!! Need to fix that....

Well then.... added Star Wars and Star Trek references last night....
Will start working on the remaining categories this week:

Architecture
Furniture
Historical
Fantasy
Steampunk

Oh! Do you guys want Uniforms and Costuming as well? It might come in handy for character builds. I have them but era and by occupation in some cases.

Naval and Cavalry uniforms
Medieval costuming
Rennaisance costuming
Georgian clothes
Victorian clothes and occupations
Edwardian clothes

I keep coming back here for my references.. It's a such a good idea. I have my own morgue for projects I am wanting to get to someday. but this is a great place to share hard to find shots and see if anyone pick it up and runs with it. :0) I may upload some stuff I have been saving for a while tonight.
