Default Space - Skylark Rocket

I recently got a HUGE book covering the British Skylark rocket program.

A very successful little rocket, with over 400 successful launches.

I plan on doing several versions, and will start with the very first launch. Though I have just discovered that the stripes were not present on the fins for that launch...

OK, new corrected colour scheme.

This is getting close to done - at least for the first variant!

But I'm rather unsure about the bracing between the fins, it doesn't show in any other versions or any of the plans art all... Could that area get covered before launch? I supect this happened on later launches, but not the first. Not sure though...

I need to check the fine details, but this might be a final render...

Something about this one really works nicely for me, but I'm not sure wghat!

OK, fin bracing now understood, it was there for the first few missions.

Fairly quickly replaced with something smaller, lighter, and easier to handle, as shown in this new render which includes the second major variant.
