I'll be back with more construction vehicles and update as soon as I can folkds, but in the meantime... A freind of mine recently bought himself a 3d printer and started printing some of my models. I got these first images this morning.

It's the hyperion.

That's very cool! Throw a paint job on it and it'll look just like the real, er, virtual thing!

I haven't done to much 3d stuff lately, so I got bored and rendered a few things.

I love the image of the fighter shooting straight up.

These are some cool images. I'd just like to add about the fourth one, that it might be improved by raising the craft up in the image so it breaks the landscape skimming effect (they look almost like they're huge and going along the ground), and adding some rotation to them so they aren't all straight.

Nice work on the building. I missed the last render and the third image of the fighter shooting straight up was my fav too.

Nice building but I'd tone down the stucco a bit.

It's kind of blocky now but I plan on having it straightened out in a little while. Btw, it's a space station that I started on a while back but never did anything with.

Very cool, I like that design and it looks like you did a great job on the modeling.

There's some very nice industrial design modelling in that station.

Right now it looks like a physical miniature, which is an accomplishment in itself.

That's a lovely house design! I could see myself building that in Sims 3.

But dual AC units? That's going to be one freaking cold house!

The flying thing is an interesting design.

Nice detail on the bottom of the truck.

The engines, maybe, maybe not. The one thing I would do is scale the exhaust bell to be more comparable to the chamber they're attached to. It looks unbalanced. Either make the chamber bigger or the bell smaller.

As for your thrusters; those are definitely too big!

I suppose it depends on what the ship is using for fuel.

I'd say yes, definitely for the ones with the smaller (fuel storage?) section in front of them. They would burn through fuel that could be reasonably stiored there in a couple of seconds.

If it is advanced fuel, then I would say make them look more futuristic - that design eeks of chemical rockets.
