Once the car and the floor are rendered, i render the RLA via Export RLA PLugin, and import it inside After Effects, so i can apply the "Extract 3d channel" plugin and export it to TGA, then i use this one as the ALFA in my PS file, so i can apply the "Lens blur" filter in photoshop... i re applied it to the render of the floor (with just the shadow) to the render of the car and to the backround :P

And then started color correction and detailing
Aww man You had me fooled, I didn't realize it had been faked in 2d, I really fell for it and thought you'd surfaced the car with the dirt n stuff.

ooh well, the only thing i really added to the car in PS was the dirt on the windshield and the color correction, the rest are really mapped on the car

I REALLY love the idea behind this. The execution at first glance is also fabulous but I'd look into the glass shader as well as I'd suggest that you model the bullet holes in the door and the glass for added depth, they are the main things that scream CG to me.

Default Well done!

Very Nice. Thanks for the breakdown. How long did it take to render with radiosity?

Hey, I'm impressed.
I was gonna mention the dirt on the windshield too, but you've already sorted that out.

Really good wires too... nice and clean.

Good work.

That looks amazing. The only giveaways I see are the license plate, and the bullet holes. Almost took a double take when I first saw it though.

Hey, where'd you get that picture of my car?

Seriously, I think that's fantastic. Too many renders have zero blemishes, and that's how you can tell them apart from the real world no matter how photoreal they are otherwise. This image makes me think of the song Fueled by Anthrax.

Awesome image and a great job overall. All my mates had American muscle cars when I was young. Corvettes, Chevy impalas, Firebird etc.......all with big blocks in them. So yeah..................memories come flooding back. Hope to see more from you soon.
