Thanks, but it's not my work, I've just tweaked it a little. Going to do a quick light rig for it, and with permission will post it for the people who want it.

Yes mate, it was easier to sort out a few windows and flip a few poly's of a third of the model than go over the whole thing, so I thought I'd have a go.

I've been so slack, I noticed I had an email from him from March, which I only just answered.

You must have learned a shedload doing that model. Any plans for a "tips" website?
Wonderful work.

Great job Andy, I'll have to find a way to use that with the mesh I've been working on, I'm not starting over, I'm halfway through with the top side.

Thanks Guys, but the credit and thanks should really go to Alexander Klemm for creating the model, and Sean who sent me his conversion to work on.

I'm downloading this one to see how you did the lights, I may just use this version because the one I am working on is taking forever.

It's just an image mapped onto a polygon. I found the wormhole image on a web search, if you want, I'll send it over when I get home tomorrow.

I apologize for the necro post, but didn't think i should open a new thread just because I'm late to the party.

Did anyone have any luck getting this working in Max? I can import the 3ds file fine, but I haven't a clue where to begin with the textures. Sadly I'm much more adept and rendering and post that I am at understanding texture setup.

Any advice would be amazing, or conversions if they're out there!

(and again, sorry for the necro - shudders)
