Default SciFi - Unused 2001 Discovery Concept - Bowl Version

I'm calling this one finished now.

An unused concept from 2001 A Space Odyssey, taken from Christopher Frayling's book, The 2001 Files, with loads of concept sketches.

The habitation modules is lifted directly from Sean's discovery mesh, the engiones are a kitbash from it.

Thanks Gordon - Though I don't think the design is anything like as effective as the one used in the film.This one self-shadows LOT, which makes good lighting VERY difficult.

It is a nicely built model. But I agree that it doesn't work as well as the movie version.
