Question Tetures for explosions & machine gun bullet tracers

Does anyone know of a source for free explosions & machine gun bullet tracer images? If not, maybe a good tutorial on these subjects.

The only free ones that I know off you can download from the Detonation Films website here: http://www.detonationfilms.com/ Other than that, Combustion is a very good program so I have seen, as is Particle Illusion if you're willing to work with the lack of 3D support (but can be worked around with some creativity).

And just adding on to the welcomes!

Well.... I can speak for Maya users, Maya comes with some Fluid presets of different explosions. And there is a a preset for tracer fire, but I haven't tried to dissect the settings to see how it ticks.
