Default Gad-fracking-zooks!

I have a UV map for a Bell 222 that is 2048x2048 yet when applied to the mesh - the lettering is blurred. Is there no way to insure the lettering (sharp on the map) is just as sharp on the model?

Blurred inside modeller? Or when rendered? Modeller has a texture OGL display limit that is typically below 2k, and so it'll look better when rendered.

Of course on the other hand, 2k really isn't that extreme for a texture, especially if the whole helicopter uses a single map.

Aha! I was judging by the display in Modeler. Learn something new everyday. I'll do a render so I can get 'fish-slapped'.

There is more than one map for the chopper.

Thnx Meurig.

Follow up: Looks perfect in a simple render. Thanx again.

Also, remeber, that the open GL display has a setting for texture sie. I tend to whap it up to 2048x2048. It can affect speed, but gives you a much better view of what your doing.
