Not completely. The prequel Star Wars trilogy used more models than the Original Trilogy did (in fact I think just one movie had more than the entire OT combined).

Even in the Serenity movie they had a large model created for when the ship crashed at the end--which they actually did a really good job on. Although sadly you can see the body of the ship rattling around on top of the cargo hold section and that always drew my eye in that part.

But really, movies use miniatures more than you'd think. I'd love to see this one fully painted like it is in the movie.

I started with model kits when I was 4 and graduated into 3d just so I could fly them around the room. I have to say this has to be one of the most amazing models I have seen.

trully amazing, great work..... whats next? I'm intrested in seeing a step by step process of the way in which you went about the building of this very cool model? again great work. there are some very talented people that post here... I'm amazed........

Thumbs up Incredible Model

The Lightwave model available on this site is truly incredible, but producing it physically (and so well) is a real achievement. Two years of work? Absolutely outstanding and worth every minute
