Default Star Wars - 1977 Soundtrack Album Back Cover

I wanted to do a recreation of the back cover from the original Star Wars soundtrack album. As a kid, I listened to this over and over again.

I created the Darth Vader artwork first. I rendered that out and did the post work in Photoshop. Then, I brought that artwork back into Cinema and created the album jacket and vinyl record. The Darth Vader model was heavily edited by me, but originally came from scifi3d.com several years ago.

Rendered in Cinema4D with Octane. Post work done in Photoshop. As always, comments and critiques are welcomed.

Well done. really nice recreation.

The scuff and wear is really nice. The only real point that stands out as different is the top of the helmet on the left side. but that's just the difference between hand drawn art and 3d render.

I listened to that album for years until it wore out.
I got a CD after that.... and then the Star Wars: A New Hope: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Special Edition) which had all the cuts which were missing from the original soundtrack.

Very nicely done and makes me glad I held onto the original album.

There's a nice bit of nostalgia! Well done, indeed. Just the other day I said at my workplace about listening to records when growing up. . . you can tell the age of people by the level of confusion on their faces.
