Default Transportation - Engine

Here is few of my latest. Model is made from 3d scan data (polygon guides for accuracy of model made by ACME DC) and I've modeled it as full SubDs model, surfacing and rendering is made this weekend when I got some free time to play with materials since all what client needed was SubDs model. It's finally off the NDA (since 2006) so i can show it now .

That's it for now and i hope you like it .

Very impressive. Modeling wise, looks spot on. Surfacing, Not sure if the powder finish on the non-polished metal is not a bit TOO strong, but otherwise looks fabulous!

A beautiful piece of modelling. Love it.

Is it done in LW, and if so, how to you get the wires (showing the subD shape I mean)?

Yes Gordon it's done in LW . You'll need "polygon coloring" plugin to make such subDs wire renders. Check out on FLAY .

May I ask how many hours you put into this?
Astounding detail! Well done!

Have you ever done a tutorial for something this complex?
I wouldn't know where to start...

I quite like the lighting as well!

It's been around 110-115 hours of modeling streched to 18-19 days . Tutorial for this. No way it would last too many hours/DVDs .
