Default SciFi - War of the Worlds

War of the Worlds, nothing more to say. Special Thanks to Rustythe1 for his great Tripod and Odin for support me with the Dosch-and DeEspona-Collection. Like always Cinema 4D, Particleillusion and Photoshop, hope you like it!

Pretty cool stuff. The nearest copter pilot would have to be insane to fly that close to the tripod and the damaged buildings mind you

Welcome to the site mate. Nice first post. The only thing that is slightly bugging me about it is there is no suggestion of motion in the tripods. Maybe if they were posed a bit differently. Cool shot in every other way though.

Great pic. Love the explosion and flame trail effects.

One nitpick is the lightning that seems a bit too 2D.

That is about all that I noticed to.

I'm curious about why you used PI. I heard that particles in Cinema were really quite good to work with.

Thanks! I have used PI to make a Texture, i have not much experience with Particles, so i use this way. Maybe i make another Version with Motion-Blur.
