Ahhhh... so true so true.

Like I said about the SSS, not yet an organic guy, so was just taking a shot at it with what lil' peripheral knowledge I have.

New render looks good mate. Congrats on the FP too.

Sounds like you use a similar technique that I do with using the envrionment for the light source and reflection.I think that expains what looks like the banding on the fender is a reflection of the white house you see on the other side of the car. I love the car and the scene but not the backdrop. I think the contoures of the car would pop more if it had a city type envrionment around it.

It's actually a full 360 environment, so the white building is only present on the other side of the car, not behind the camera as well. While a city environment would be cool, it less embodies the notion of demanding to be driven than a more open environment, but that's always going to vary from person to person

Cheers!

For any application of speed I always prefer a long, straight stretch of road in the open country with no traffic so if I cock up, I'm the only one who gets hurt.

Oh, lack of speed traps is always a consideration too.

THe thread title says it all. It does look better with the emphasis taken off the driver. Someday I'll be able to model like that.

Amazing! my only crit would be the driver, as he looks kind of fake, but otherwise, it is absolutely amazing. The model is great, and so is the composition. Thank you for sharing!

Yer but why would Treybor want a Lotus when his Falcon can make .5 past light speed!

Great image Craig, as always.
