Default I found my render on a website without my permission

I was looking at stories over at fan fiction.net and I noticed a render I made back in 2011 was being used. Normally, I wouldn't care but they cropped it to cut out my credits. Should I ask the story author to remove it or complain to the website or just let it alone?

I'd go in hard with a Vorlon Dreadnought....

Seriously, contact the website owner, but really ya gotta be prepared for any image you post to be used by someone, somewhere, for something, sometime. That just the interwebz for ya

Personally, I just take it as a compliment and leave it when one of my renders floats around somewhere. It's fan-art I gave away for free in the first place, so I don't see any use about getting possessive. If someone else is taking credit, that's a different matter but, even then, I've got the ultimate high ground; if someone like the picture and wants to pay the person who made the picture for something, I'm the one who made it.

I have stuff floating around all over the net. It bothered me a bit but most places are not claiming my stuff as their own or charging any one for it so I just shake my head and move along.

At least go after them and tell them to put the credits back onto the image. Yes, they can use the cropped version, but give you credit for it.

I did and they didn't do it. I'm thinking of asking the moderator.
