Currently making a wizard for the stars and nebulae, to make it easier to work with, but I'm only half way through. I think I'll have to do a video at some point.

Also, just noticed a problem with how it adds stars. Not noticable except for edge cases but I need to revise the bitmaps I think - experiment for tomorrow. I need to get this to a state where I can call it done for now, feature creep has driven me mad.

Ok, here's a version 1.2, which I'm comfortable calling a release:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/viwcwdtvie...STALL.exe?dl=0

Probably too much to mention change wise, and I can't remember half of it anyway :P , but I've tried to dot help around the program, from a wizard to help with starfields to lots of presets for nebulae and a 'make me a random nebula' button. Hopefully the functions in the scripts are easy enough to figure out with all the examples. I still might do a youtube vid explaining it all.

Finally, as with all my programs, crashes are easy to do. Just swap out a number for text in a textbox and find out but it's stable enough and will happily create 4k starfields, which was the main reason I made this in the first place.

If you make any good presets with it, post them here and I'll roll them into the inevitable next release. The presets.txt file should be easy enough to figure out, and if you make any decent output with it, I wouldn't mind a link for a look

Well I can report it does work (Win 7 64 Bit Pro) without stress, although it's a bit too easy to delete the presets Crook ! I did something that prevented the free draw nebs from rendering, so I had to re-install but working fine now. I prefer to not use the starfields, but I don't do images, mostly animating so I need that 'sphere'. But nebulae map on spheres no worries.

Unlimited nebulae now, thanks mate

Image took about 10 mins to produce, from opening SM to finished render in LW :-

Yeah trust me I know what you mean about the presets. I was thinking of putting in a 'lock' or 'readonly', and maybe a backup presets thing. In the end clicking on random preset forces it to be a new preset, which I thought was enough. Maybe not Glad it's of some use.

It's made for PC. Unless you've miss typed and are saying you can't install it, then you'll need to read how to get vb.net apps to work on win 7 and update your .net to at least 4.61.

Hi Crook.
I have installed all updates from Win 7.
I helped myself and copied all files from one computer to another and SpaceMaker is running. Thank you
