KCHING!

Yeah...I got so good at Xevious I could play for 1 hour on one quarter...

Oh man... that reminds me of the window painting I did for the local arcade.
It was called the Time Machine and I did a futuristic robot holding a glowing clock.
Got a month's worth of free games out of it...

Geez.... that musta been back in 81....only 3 decades ago...

Heh I used to play F-15 Strike Eagle III in 'Arcade Mode' (which meant you couldn't bank the plane) and pretended I was flying Airwolf.

World of Warcraft created a quest in their last expansion which is a very big nod to Joust. Same idea, constantly click the flap icon to fly, then ram your opponents in the air, but it's all happening in a 3D space instead of 2D. Oddly enough, I can do it in 3D better than I ever did in 2D.

Battlezone (The tall console was prefered.) and Sinistar ("I hunger!") were my money killers in the arcades and at home it was Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, X-Wing and Tie Fighter. Great times.

Ghosts and Goblins!!! God there is one I haven't thought about in YEARS!!

A while ago I got the amiga emulator and bought the roms and played...

Defenders of the Crown... My god is that screen small now. That was back when 640x480 was full screen! Now its a little bitty window on your screen. Still a lot of fun jousting and trying to NOT kill a horse. Also wheeled out battlechess. I to this day have not been able to play a normal game of chess with it.. Its more fun to see how the king is going to take out a pawn or a knight

I remember Battle Chess. And the other one, I think it was called Archon. A chess style game with animated fantasy characters.
