Default REQUEST - Illustrator Mesh Help

I am currently doing a project of creating a logo. I cose to do it with Illustrator. I am using the mesh tool. However, I've been having problems with the anchor point corner. The directions of the handles are independent from each other (Hard corners). Does anyone know how to convert them to smooth, similar to what can be done in Photoshop?

I just find it strange that nearly identical tools between the softer don't share the same qualities.

I attached an example. I want to smooth out the shartp poinjt that has a shade of dark cyan/green. An anchor point that has two independent handles. (Not a single straight Line)

I didn't know where to post this.
