Cool The Mandalorian

So we're up to E5 of Season one of the Mandalorian and so far I have to say I'm really enjoying it.
You can't give me too much space cowboys stuff and the old school approach is really sitting well with me.
What do you guys think?
Are the FX up to snuff in your opinion?

I am really liking this as well. I think some of the FX are a bit weak but maybe its due the fact we have more tie to actually see it. Most times in movies it's going by so fast you don't really get a chance to see it.

I just watched the first five episodes last night. I enjoyed it! It's "good Star Wars", very faithful to the movies and I thought the effects were just fine. They certainly maintained one Star Wars tradition: they have a cool looking ship!

Oh yeah, any fans of Valve's Portal and Portal 2 games? Did you spot the companion cubes in docking bay three five?

Some of the FX works really well, especially those that feature the Razor Crest.

I was wondering if those were not something from the old films or if it really was a reference to the game. They are actually all over in the show. Though given who is running things the show is full of extras and tips to stuff. Basically live action of the cgi wars shows.

Really wish they did not beat the dead horse with yet another retelling of Seven Samurai. been retold in wars stories way too much.

I don't know for a fact that they are companion cubes, but, other than the colour there is distinct similarity!

I love it and I also loved The Rise of Skywalker. At least it's getting better reviews than Cats which I heard is so bad it belongs in a litter box.

I just heard that for season 2, they will have Ahsoka Tano on The Mandelorian, she will be played by Rosario Dawson. I'm so excited to see a live action Ahsoka Tano.

I'm hoping this means we'll also see Sabine, and maybe even Ezra or Thrawn (or at least get an update on the search for them).

Me too, but I doubt it, if anything, it could lead to an Ashoka Tano series and then we will learn what happened to them. Now, I just got Rise of Skywalker special edition from Target and I'm going to watch all 9 movies plus Solo, Rouge One, The Mandalorian and Clone Wars plus Rebels. I'm going to have a long marathon.
