Default Character - Lets Fail - Sculpting/Low poly

Another lets fail thread from me

So i recently picked up MGSV: TPP and played the hell out of it but curious as i am it didnt take long for me to start poking around in the files to mod things to my liking such as editing textures and removing mesh parts on some of the character models but i was limited to only changing the difuse color layers or removing parts as i didnt know much about normals or how to use or create them so that led me to finally try and figure it out and after piecing together some knowledge form diffrent sources i now have atleast a basic understanding of the process with the tools at my disposal and comfertable enough to share some progress.

i am using Sculptris to sculpt the details and generate the normal map, retopo and textures using Modo.

50k tris
4k textures

first attempt at a "Sneaking" Suit inspired by MGS, learned alot from this test and im already working on other character sculpts that ill be sharing as i go.

sure, its nothing fancy tho as ive baked down the sculpt to a low poly frame using normal maps.

the first image i posted was of the sculpt itself and tbh 1.5 mil triangles doesnt make a very good looking wire

Very nice and very efficient poly flow .You can feel the heat from the dragon ,looks like it's red hot in places .

there are a few tris in there tho so the geometry isnt perfect and yeah im happy with the basic texture but there is to much reflections on it atm, i am currently sculpting a second version of the dragon with more detail that ill apply the same texture generation on hopefully itll look better then AND itll have teeth

Looking good for me! A fire drake (perhaps from the North?)! Can't go wrong with that...
