Default Star Trek - Purple Haze

I created a new nebula background with Apophysis and spent a while creating this scene.

I really wanted the nebula to pop so it's a bit over-saturated on purpose. It's more of an artistic piece rather than trying for complete lighting accuracy.

MKF's Re-imagined Enterprise was used for this shot.

I like it. You did a good job on the nebula's colors.

Thanks. I have a few more nebulas I rendered out that need a subject to adorn them. Not sure quite yet what exactly I'm going to use.

I've been on such a Trek kick lately, I want to change it up. Not sure what I'll use next.

That's one of the things that keeps me going too.
Lovely picture, by the way.

Thanks guys.

I know all time Im inviesting isn't going to waste. I compare old stuff I did to my new stuff and it's so much better. I keep digging away at some new settings or techniques every week to learn more and get better.

Those are both very nice. I think I'm partial to the first one though, a bit more dynamic.

Yeah me too. The side profile shot that was requested was hard to find a good angle with the background.
