Default Star Wars - Arc-170

I downloaded this excellent little model by Lee Ray last night. I had to render up a scene with this cool ship.

Finally did a Star Wars render. Makes me want to model something now.

Thanks guys. Although the original modeler did a nice job on it. I think he skimped out on the guns. They look rather boxy and they didn't render as well as the rest of the ship.

I'm thinking I might have a go at modeling this thing myself at some point.

The guns do let the model down a bit but your lighting of the scene is terrific.

Thanks. The lighting for the scene was pretty easy to set up. The textures are done up really well, except for the gun area.

Might redo the guns myself.

I was messing around with some of the texture settings on this and decided to do a rear angle render on it. Figured I might as well post it too.

Thanks mate, it was more for the cloud concept and using it in an animation. The model was good as it was low poly but detail was still good.

Yeah it looks very good for 'low' poly.

Sure, I'll render some up later tonight or tomorrow. I'm currently working on my TOS Enterprise fixing some things on it. The dish at the moment... I made the Smithsonian dish instead of the original dish.. well more like the antenna is what needs fixing but I also wanted to reshape the dish as I noticed it's not 100% accurate.

Also doing a Defiant conversion, just need to finish up the dish then I'll have time to do up more shots of the ARC-170
