Default Star Trek - Attack

I've been wanting to do a battle animation for a while, but still haven't worked out the plan yet.

I did have an idea for a still image though. Enjoy!

Thanks. As you guys asked for, did up another one with a sun flare in Max instead of the photoshop one everyone seems to dislike so much.

Very nice image although I do have a small point of critique:
The background image has a clear line of diversion in it, just under the Connie's saucer.
Apart from that, it's beautiful

Thanks for pointing that out. It was from other layers. Their borders did not go to the edge. I have cleaned it up, at least from what I can see. LOL Apparently I do not see much since I missed that 2 times now.

I did a watercolor of this too since I've uploaded this thing 3 times now might as well give some kind of variation too.

Thanks. Gives me some Ideas for the battle scene I want to do. But I still have alot of things to work out like shield FX, phasters, explosions and battle dmg.

I want it to be a bit more realistic than a lot of the battle scenes I've seen done at least in terms of when the ship gets hit damage shows up and bits fly off of the hull. It's pretty ambitious for my first attempt at a serious animation.

I dunno if it'll be more than I can chew off but I'm gonna give it a go once I figure these things out.
