Question Sci-Fi - SciFi Texture Pack Question

My name is Jon and I am new to this list, but have been using Lightwave since Video Toaster 2 came out. Not sure if this is the proper thread to ask, but I thought I would try.

I recently downloaded the SciFi Texture Pack (Downloads/Plugins & Presets/Lightwave/Presets/Science Fiction) and noticed that all the jpg images required for the Presets to load were missing.

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this, or where ( if ) the images were available elsewhere? I was trying to contact the Author (Magma) but have not had any luck yet.

Jon

Nope, I've just downloaded this fine and can access everything. Perhaps something occurred during transit?

Thanks for the feedback. Still no luck here - using LW 11 on a MacBook Pro.
Maybe I am not placing them correctly?
Messages I get are, for example for "Magma SF - Alien Skin" selecting "Gradient 4" (first Preset) get the message

(continued - got cut off when I entered a TAB)
get the message
Cannot Find "Images/Magma_SciFi_TexturePack/AlienSkin/AlienSkin-04-bump.JPG"
Which is why I thought images were missing.
Have not tried this on an earlier version (of LW).

Pack is is in Downloads/Plugins & Presets/Lightwave/Presets/Science Fiction
Downloaded it again, still not luck
Checking the files on the ZIP show only "pst" files, no images.

Description: ... Those presets needs the other textures pack in order to work, you also have to decompress the packs in specific folders, see the second picture. You'll also fin tutorials and other cool thing there... Have fun !
So ... where is the URL or link to the required textures?

"I don't know what to do with .pst files."

.pst is a LW surface preset file.

First thing though...do you know how to manually create a new surface library in the preset panel?

,pst files go in the "Lightwave/Programs/Presets". Probably in the "Surface Editor" folder. Dig into it and based on the name of the file see if you can't find a directory where it makes sense.

You create a new preset library by right clicking in the preset window in layout or modeller and click create new library.

.pst files are seperated into surface, hypervoxel, volume light and Environment. In lightwave 10 and below presets can be manually pasted into the folder: C:\Program Files\NewTek\LightWave 3D 9\Programs\Presets

In lightwave 11 they should be pasted into: C:\Program Files\NewTek\LightWave11.0\support\presets
