Default Movie & TV Related - I Give you....... General Lee

Now this is a quick knock together. A car of my dreams like so many kids in the 80's.( yes that make me nearer 40 than i want, oh well.)
So its a bog standard 69 charger, and then i added bits where i saw fit. i know its not exact, but i like these, and its using hd photo background.
What do you think,?
And did you read this without doing the dixie horn sound?

It looks close enough to the General for me. Most of what made the car unique was under the hood anyway i.e. 2 shocks per wheel, roll cage around the engine compartment etc. which is all stuff you wouldn't see anyways.

The composite is nice, although that road doesn't match into the grass too well.

Hey!

That looks pretty cool! I loved that show when I was younger.

One time at a local 4th of July parade, a local had two of those cars. One pained just like the General Lee, the other painted blue with an American Flag on the top and called the General Grant. LOL!

Your textureing on the tire lettering is glowing underneath the car.

Can this car land on it's nose with the fenders buckling then show up in the next scene without a scratch?

I would guess that "this" car can do "all" of those things mentioned!
Just a guess though.....

Nice job mate. Sure does bring back some memories. I think with a little more work, you could certainly bring this up a notch or two. But like you said it was a quick knock together. Great job so far !

I do love the Charger, it just looks and sounds amazing. Not sure I'd have the General for day to day commuting, I'd rather go for the sinister black one from Bullit.
