Very cool Amras. Do you have any intention of releasing the Valen publically when you've finished it? As far as I know there are no public versions of it currently and it'd be great to have a play around with

I'm not sure about that.
But if i will release it, i will do it only here. Because then i can be sure that it is in good hands.

Awesome!

The Valen looks very cool and the ingame B5 is sweet. Always wished they finished that "Into the Fire" game.

Well, i hope we will make it better.

Here is a WIP of a minbaritransporter. I'm still not sure, if it will fit at the end.^^

Oh, and we have a new little video of some centauri ships ingame.

Man, keep up the hard work. It is nice to see someone modeling B5 stuff, and even better to see someone attempt the Valen. Looks awsome. Could we get some glory shots when you are done?

That design is growing on me....

Years ago I worked with someone on Bab 5 mods for Homeworld and one of those was Minbari. Making Minbari utility vessels was always pretty difficult because it's very easy to get into simple kitbash territory and those designs do tend to look crap.

Yours is a bit different.. I'm not completely sold on the canisters yet but it depends how you intend to texture them up I think. I'm not sure the regular organic-ish blue will really work on them but then neither will gunmetal, since it doesn't fit their design style. Tough choices for you

I never really got into B5 but these Minbari designs are just to beautiful.
Love the flowing lines. Very nice work.

I just got the idea because someone showed me a pic of an Airbus and after i saw a motorbike i began to make this ship.

I use round container's, because they should be organic. And we know that a round shape would be the best because we know eggs.^^
And it's mathematicaly the best shape as far as i know.
Beside that, i have to look at the polycount all the time.

Well, i hope it is not kitbash in your eyes.
Because then i have failed...

Being a huge B5 fan ... I have been following this via the website and everytime I see a new addition my mouth waters at the anticipation of playing this mod ... it's like being a part of B5 history. .... Bravo

I really like the overall shape a lot - the sense of weight is good for a frieghter, and the 'gills' / ribs with the flowlng lines make it instantly Minbari.

I too a not so sure about the containers though - the egg shape does seem a bit arbitrary, and I feel they should fit more snuggly into the outer sections.

How about a shape for the containers along these lines? That would fit in neatly, preserve a segmented organic look for Minbari, and also be reasonably practical for moving freight.

I would...I think your ships (from what I've seen so far) are much nicer than most of the ones I've seen on the show.

BTW, what game are you doing this for?
