Other - Unable to Download
The question is, I can't find the download button or how do I download from the resources?
In order to download free resources you do need to have an account on the forums. Registration is free, however, depending on when you register it could take up to an hour for the validation script to catch up with you.
You will need a valid email address that you can check for validation purposes. If you do not see a validation request check your spam or junk mail.
When we designed this site one of the requirements put forth to us by mesh authors was the ability to control how their work is released. In order for that to happen there has to be an account which allows the owners to control who is able to download their work.
We do hope however that at a minimum you will take time to become engaged with the forums either by sharing your work, or joining in conversation. We believe you will find this site and our members to be a valuable partner in your 3D adventure.
Currently there are three types of downloads available.
This means you are free to download it and use it in your work. There are restrictions on free resources which are covered either by the generic site EULA or by an included readme or text file that takes precedence over that. You should always read the files to know the authors intentions.
These items have been released to either specific members or groups of members.
3. Premiere Content
These resources are either purchased by F3D, donated to F3D or created specifically for our content. As such they are available to Premiere Members only.
Information on gaining access to Premiere Content is located here:
Recently a member was unable to download a model even though he has been a registered member for a couple of years. After looking into it he found his anti-virus software was blocking the site. If you are able to log into the site, leave messages but not download you may want to check that as a possible solution.
