Default Star Trek - We're Not In Kansas Anymore

This is my first image in a very long time, so I admit I'm a bit rusty. Every so often though I get requests from my wife to "draw a picture", and with the frequency of these it's hard to draw something new--besides drawing Barricade from Transformers gets a bit old sometimes

So, just for shits and giggles, and doing something I usually don't like to, I decided to make up a cross genre image. Because my drawing skills are, shall we say not the best, I thought I'd realise it in Lightwave as well.

A side from it needing a bit more aa on the ship in front there are some strange lines to its composition.

The lines that I circled just throw it off. The front ones, its hard to tell what ship they are from and the back ones almost seem to intersect. They make the back ship seem like its right on top of the one that's getting attacked.

Ok, now that is unusual. I had to look at it twice to be sure what I was looking at.

Thanks guys

@Bill:
I can see what you mean mate. I'm not quite sure which one is the first you're meaning but I can say they are definitely not intersecting. I think it's just the way it's framed. I've already taken liberties with the composition from the "original" I drew, as I'm not using ink on paper so there's no constraints on resolution or framing--no scale and a lot more overlap. When I get some more inspiration, I'm hoping to improve it all--I'm severely out of practice.

Great mash-up! The cross-over here is just fun, but imagine an actual cross-over with .... say the BSG universe! Their tech alligns a lot tighter and the stories that could be initiated if when the Galactica discovered Earth, they found the B5 Earth Alliance instead -- that could be wickedly fun!
