Hi
I built this model a while ago and decided to do some new improved renders. Model made in Lightwave and rendered in Modo, touch ups in Photoshop. Any comments welcome. Enjoy. |

Oh she is a thing of beauty!
Nice render. My only little nit-pic would be the brake discs and the callipers seem bland in comparison to the rest of vehicle. Ricky. |

Savage car with some great curves!! and a very clean render….but I do have to agree with Ricky the brake discs and the calipers are the weakest part of the mesh. you really would expect to see some high end discs and calipers on a car like this...still first class work even with this small oversight.

Thanks for the comments and I am in agreement. when I built the mesh I didn't have any detailed reff pics of the brake calipers, I will work them and re-post the render as soon as I get the chance.

Congrats on a front-page slot!
This almost made the feature slot but I don't like to do the same subject material back to back. Nice work, imo. |

Beautiful render! Excellent job!
My only two tiny little crits are: 1) I'm not crazy about the material for the side exhaust (doesn't look as good as the other materials) 2) The ground shadow where the tires touch the ground could be darker (an AO for the ground shadow would do that). Once again, love the render! JMoney |

Thanks for the comments and crit, yes, I agree, the shadow should be darker and the exhaust needs a different material, I should have paid better attention before the final render. For now I am happy with the result.

The only things that jumped out have been mentioned. Still a killer render though. If you wanted to you could tone down the exhaust and darken the shadow in post. Save rerendering it.

I can't believe I missed this--great job mate, the car blends really well. Though the parking spots look a bit small for it, but it may be the perspective.
