Hi there !
Here is one old model I made in 2005 by looking at photos 'coz H3 was concept back then so i had no blueprints. I didn't render it for looong time so it was nice candidate for last years Bob Groothuis cool Dutch Skies competition. I won 3rd place and got very nice DVDs full of HDRI skies and sIBLs. I rendered 2 different locations/sets cheers |

I was going to say it looked a little pale/washed out compared to the backdrop, but then I shifted it to my main monitor and it looked awesome. I shouldn't have doubted ye, master! Forgive me!

Overall it's a nice piece of work. The only thing that looks off, in my opinion, is the chrome. In the first image it looks like plastic, in the second image it almost looks metal, but not quite.

Nice models, have any HMMWV's on your list of projects?
A HUMMER is what you get on a date while in a HUMVEE..... I turned in my Jeep for the original HMMWV... No comparison to what's on the road today... |

Thanks for comments guys.
Rigel - interesting observation, especially 'coz you think it's different material at 2 renders, I didn't change any Chrome surface settings between renders so dunno why they look different to you. As for exact chrome material hmm it's LW preset so maybe it's too old by now . Thanks for feedback |

Hey Lewis,
Long time no talk...but I think building Mastiffs would be a good project if offered to you. There will be an awful lot of sticky-out bits...but its current! Cheers Ivor |

Everyone has made this month's selections extremely difficult. I could have chosen any one of about two dozen images for front-page slots. Congrats on being one of them!
