Castor & Pollux are 2 shuttle/transport/offencive/explorer etc etc vessels basicly swiss army knifes of spaceships they attach to a much larger exploration and mapping vessel i havnt finished yet.
as you can (unless you are a hermit living on phobos) tell the design was HEAVILY inspired by "prometheus" but with my own uniqe spin on it. textures and model styling was intended to look "current" with a mix of "modern spaceship" ie soemthing i could sort of belive would exist in say 20-40 years? the names of the 2 ships being castor a pollux comes from them being "twins" and i found it fitting software used: Modo 501 photoshop CS4 total worktime ca 2 days (tho model is still lacking some stuff i have in mind i just dont have the time to finish it right now) but hey i figured why not share it even if it isnt really finalized.. quick LAZY dirty scene. some angles. |

Nice! You get the "bug" style that they were going for in Prometheus. Looks fantastic!

well its 2 full days... also it isnt SUPER detailed and many or rather all details are instanced so i cant claim it was hard tedious or repititous work and things tend to go fast with such models. Quote:
