Default Fantasy - Old Man

Hi Everyone, I recently completed this artwork based on the original art by Denis Zilber.
Software used was Modo 601 and Photoshop CS5.
Any comments are welcome.

That is really, really close to the original. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe do the trees in front of the beetle as a separate pass and comp them in. They have a hard edge to them that none of the other areas on the image have.

When I first saw the thumbnail image, my first thought was Gandalf

I actually like this a lot... it's a simple piece, but it's great art.

I thought this month would be a little easier since there hadn't been quite so many images to the finished art sections. Was I ever wrong, I had to boil it down to six and this was one of them. Congrats on the front-page slot!
