Default Movie & TV Related - Attack of the Pirates

Back in the good old days, I worked in a space theme restaurant called 'Buck Rogers Burger Station. I did this to remind me that it's still possible to have fun in a job even when you have to dress up in an alien costume.

I was rather fond of Ardala myself. Although, Wilma in that all-white, clingy uniform....

Oh, and great render too.

The hat was just a metaphor.

Nice image.

So, do you have any photos of you working in the burger station?

There's a couple. I'll see if I can dig them out. The restaurant used to be in Queen Street in Glasgow back in 1982-83. It lost money big time and closed after a mystery fire in the property above it. (There was a lot of mystery fires in Glasgow with ailing companies taking the insurance money and running during the 80's.)

Here's a couple of pictures. They're pretty dark as they were shot on an old 110 camera.

I'm the one in the brown shirt in the third picture.

heh heh The mask the kid is wearing is pretty cool.

It's fun to see a theme restaurant, if it's done well. Too bad that one did not succeed.

Maybe if they'd had Erin Gray there . . . ?

The guy in the mask was a dwarf and he was the randiest little stoat that I've ever come across in my life. He was regularly dating these gorgeous girls that were about a foot and a half taller than him.
