Default Transportation - Nautilus

Decided to do this higher res than the one that's been available in LW for so long.

Basic hull shape is done and I'll start the deck and con next.

That reminds me of my seaQuest-mesh that I always wanted to complete. I should take your go on the Nautilus as an inspiration. *g

Good start. Don't be like me with my mesh(Well: Work!): Keep goin'.

AH, be sure to put a little Kick Douglas in a striped sweater on the deck.

Nice so far, always loved that film.

If you do a closeup render of the big windows on the side are we going to get to see Captain Nemo's salon and organ inside?

Nemo's Salon view port is done on the outside, I'll drop some rivets in and then move on.

Nice little project going on. Where did you get your reference pics from? If you don't mind my asking?

Yes, it does but I decided to do this one since a couple of the guys were interested in closer renders. If you Warren's be sure to post the progress, would like to see that one done up.

I have to admit I hadnít intended to do the interior of this thing but with all these open windows it just had to be done. Spent a fair bit of time gathering more reference and proceeded to add the wheel house interior. Still a lot to be added but it looks pretty cool already. Not sure how far Iíll take it, at least far enough to make a believable render.

Not trying to nitpick, but actually this would make him a "masochist" (the act of inflicting pain on oneself)

Oh, neglected to mention, awesome work on the pilot house.

Just thinking about the rivets, rivet number 1004 done, rivet number 1005 done, Rivet number.......LOL Masochistic looks to be the correct term.

It's coming along nicely good to see you took the plunge on the interior.
